Carried by his father McCoy Gerl, young Laith gives a high five to Sparky the fire Dog during the City of Warman Fire Department’s open house and pancake breakfast on Saturday, May 24. Hundreds of children and their families turned out to the event to receive plastic fire hats, meet Sparky the fire dog, pose in pictures with fire trucks, use a fire hose to knock down targets and, of course, eat breakfast.
The Canada flag could be seen flying high over the fire hall.
