The Warman Wildcats were edged 4-3 by the Meadow Lake Broncos in the opening game of their best-of-three Senior A hockey provincial series in St. Walburg on Sunday, February 6.
Warman Wildcats netminder Adam Evanoff kept his team in the game, stopping a lot of rubber over three periods. Meadow Lake outshot Warman 52-27.
Next action in this series goes Sunday, Feb. 13 at the Beardy’s & Okemasis Arena. Game time is 3:00 p.m. If necessary, game three will be back in St. Walburg on Sunday, Feb. 20.
