The Warman Wildcats came away with a hard fought 4-3 victory over the visiting Saskatoon Blazers in the Saskatchewan U18 AAA game played at Legends Centre on November 3.

The Wildcats opened the scoring when Rylan Pearce netted a power play marker with 6:30 left in the period. They added to their lead on Rhett Dekoway’s goal early in the second.

Forty seconds into the third period a Brody Mortensen goal increased the lead.

Three minutes later a goal by Jayden Jessiman saw the Wildcats apparently in control with a 4-0 lead.

The Blazers had other plans and really turned the heat up. Raiden Zacharias tipped a shot past goalie Alex Worthington to get the visitors on the board.

With four minutes left Josh Zakreski blasted a top corner shot from the  faceoff circle to make it a two goal difference.

In the last two minutes the Blazers pulled their goalie for an extra attacker and were rewarded with a Tyson Yaremko goal with 26 seconds left.

The Wildcats were able to hold off the visitors in the final seconds for their eleveth win of the season.
