Martensville City Councillor Tyson Chillog

Martensville City Councillor Tyson Chillog will take on the role of Martensville Deputy Mayor for the next two years.

Chillog, who served as Deputy Mayor on the previous council, was named to the position during a meeting of Martensville City Council on Tuesday, November 24. He will fill in for Martensville Mayor Kent Muench when called on.

The appointment was one of several made during the November 24 council meeting, as councillors accepted civic committee responsibilities.

As Mayor, Muench is an ex-officio member of all committees and is Chair of City Council.

In addition to his duties as Deputy Mayor, Chillog is a member of the Personnel Committee, Recreation Facility Committee, Pump Track Committee, and Truth and Reconciliation Committee.

Councillor Jamie Martens  is on the Police Advisory Board, library board, Beautification Committee, Naming Committee, and a city council representative on the SREDA-North Saskatoon Business Association.

Councillor Debbie McGuire is the council representative on the Opimihaw Creek committee and South Saskatchewan River North Watershed Advisory Committee, Beautification Committee, and Seniors/Health Committee.

Councillor Spencer Nikkel is the city council representative on the Prairie Sky Chamber of Commerce as well as the Kinsmen Park Committee, Partnership for Growth (P4G) and the Police Advisory Board.

Councillor Darren MacDonald is on the Martensville Community Recreation Project (MCRP) board, the Kinsmen Park Committee, Naming Committee, Pump Track Committee, and Recreation Facility Committee.

Councillor Mike Cox is on the MCRP board, P4G committee, Personnel Committee, Seniors/Health Committee, and Truth and Reconciliation Committee.
