Roger Kinzel is the new  Reeve of the RM of Rosthern.

Kinzel handily won a two-way race for the position in the November 9 municipal election, collecting 367 votes. The other candidate, Gabriel Benoit, polled 94 votes. Richard Pochipinski in Division 1 and Glenn Braun in Division 3 were both elected by acclamation to the RM of Rosthern council, while Tom Madden (79 votes) won by a slim majority over Sara Unger (74 votes) in Division 7.

Leonard Junop won the election for Reeve of the RM of Vanscoy. He recorded 350 votes, while the other candidate, Michelle Linklater, polled 108 votes. Three councillors were elected by acclamation in the RM of Vanscoy: James Harvey in Division 1, Jeffrey Kielo in Division 3, and Liana Larson in Division 5.

In the RM of Montrose, the race for Reeve was much closer. Ray French (130 votes) defeated Shelby Corey (125 votes). In Division 1, Judy Curren (38 votes) defeated Dennis Goll (22 votes). Greg Anderson (16 votes) defeated Joe Schumacher (7 votes) in Division 3, while Casey Schumacher (48 votes) won by a sizeable margin over Jacob Mitchell (11 votes) in Division 5.

While some returns have yet to be counted as of November 10, it appears Blair Cummins has won the electoral contest to become Reeve of the RM of Blucher. Cummins has so far recorded 231 votes while fellow candidate Ray Rees polled 105 votes. In Division 1, incumbent Nicole DeCorby (16 votes) leads challenger Margo Zadvorny (10 votes). It is also a tight race in Division 5, where Robin WIlson (38 votes) holds a slim lead over Donald Crowther  (36 votes). James Appellt was re-eleted by acclamation in Division 3. Final results for the RM of Montrose are expected to be posted on November 12.

In the RM of Laird, Sheldon Willems was elected Reeve. He polled 118 votes while fellow candidate Nadine Ness earned 65 votes. Ron Boldt was the successful candidate in Division 1, defeating Kirk Bolan. Lorne Gunau was acclaimed in Division 3.

Ed Fertuck was acclaimed as Reeve of the RM of Eagle Creek; while Ian Gilchrist (15 votes) beat Clinton Stack (9 votes) in Division 1; Steve Lovenuk (29 votes) defeated Chris Evanisky (8 votes) in Division 3, and Clinton Berglund was acclaimed in Division 5.

Jonathan Olyniuk was elected Reeve of the RM of Dundurn, with 277 votes, compared to 121 votes for Trevor Reid, the other candidate in the race.  It was a close contest in Division 1, where Curtis Block (51 votes) edged out Travis Libke (50 votes) by the narrowest of margins. Iver Johnson (29 votes) won a three way race in Division 3 against Werner Falk (22 votes) and David Aldred (12 votes). Stephanie Freeden (79 votes) defeated Lou Paquette (20 votes) to take the Division 5 council seat.

Reeve Marvin Bettker was re-elected by acclamation in the RM of Aberdeen. In Division 1, incumbent councillor Graham White was acclaimed. In Division 3, incumbent councillor Kevin Kirk was re-elected by acclamation. In Division 5, incumbent councillor Paul Martens was returned by acclamation.

In the RM of Duck Lake, cumbent Reeve Remi Martin re-elected by acclamation. Division 3 incumbent councillor Lois McCormick was re-elected by acclamation. There were two candidates for the Division  1 council seat: Scott Gauthier and Alan Lanovaz, however results of the election were not posted as of November 10.

Bob Kramchynski was elected by acclamation to the position of Reeve of the RM of Fish Creek. Lawrence Sosnowski was elected by acclamation to the Division 1 council seat. There were two candidates for the Division 3 council seat: Peter Roslinksi and Ryan Sawitsky. However, results were not posted as of November 10. Division 5 councillor Chris Dutchak was elected by acclamation.

Kim Maxwell was elected by acclamation as Reeve of the RM of Great Bend. Greg Orchard was elected by acclamation in Division 1 and Ian Hosegood was acclaimed in Division 5.
