After almost a year of construction and renovation, the RM of Corman Park office in Saskatoon is ready to reopen to the public.
In a notice posted on the Corman Park website on Wednesday, June 10, RM administration officials said the office will officially open on Thursday, June 11.
The office, located at 111 Pinehouse Drive, will be open to the public for walk in traffic making payments or general inquiries.
Barriers at the payment counter and other locations have been installed for protection of both clients and staff. Social distancing markers have been set up on the floor, and a sanitizing station has been installed in the foyer to be utilized by those entering the building.
The number of ratepayers not from the same household allowable in the office at one time will be limited to five, to a maximum of 10 total members of the public in the office at one time.
The RM is encouraging members of the public, where possible, to limit groups from individual households to a maximum of two people.
Ratepayers are encouraged to continue utilizing remote options where possible, but will now be able to attend the office if they so choose.
As RM staff return to work at the office in stages, in some cases attendees will still be directed to phone or email an applicable employee if they are not available to meet in person.
Distancing guidelines will continue to be observed in all cases, with the front counter being able to be used as a barrier where possible.
If masks are a personal preference they are able to be worn, but are not mandatory and will not be provided by the R.M.
If there are any questions or concerns please contact the R.M. office at (306) 242-9303.
