On May 25, 2026, the Corman Park Police Service (CPPS) deployed eight officers in support of two separate community safety projects: a commercial and light vehicle inspection project on Highway 12 at Township Road 381, and a bicycle safety rodeo for Grade 3 students at South Corman Park School.

The Highway 12 vehicle inspection project was conducted in partnership with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Vanscoy Police Service (VPS), Dalmeny Police Service, Saskatchewan Highway Patrol, and Saskatchewan Conservation Officers.

Together, the multi-agency team inspected 100 vehicles throughout the course of the project.

The inspection project resulted in the following enforcement activity:

Warnings Issued – 58 Total

• Traffic Safety Act: 7

Commercial Carrier Inspections

• Three commercial carrier inspections were completed.

• Five vehicle inspection tickets were issued for required repairs.

• One truck and trailer combination was placed out of service due to unsafe conditions.

In addition to the commercial inspections, one Novice driver was issued a 60-day licence suspension and a three-day vehicle impoundment after testing positive for cannabis impairment.

Multi-agency traffic enforcement initiatives remain key priorities for the Corman Park Police Service in support of safer roads and safer communities in Saskatchewan.
