The Saskatchewan RCMP’s Central District General Investigation Section is now looking into a series of break-and-enters that occured at vape shops in Warman and Martensville over the last three months.
Between October and December, the RCMP received reports of break-and-enters at local vape shops on the following dates and locations: Martensville (October 7), Martensville (October 27), Warman (October 30), Warman and Martensville (November 17), Martensville (December 22), Warman (December 22) and Warman (December 30).
There was also an armed robbery of a vape shop in Warman on December 13.
The RCMP usually does not identify businesses that are victims of crime, but in this case, the public is being notified so similar businesses can take precautions.
An investigation was initiated in December to determine if they were connected. So far, it has been determined that each incident involved two or three suspects, all wearing dark clothing and covering their faces.
The armed robbery also involved a white 2019 or newer model Toyota RAV 4, which can be seen in the below images.
Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to report it to police by calling 310-RCMP. Information can also be submitted anonymously by contacting Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or www.saskcrimestoppers.com.
