Sixteen-year-old Letian (Tina) Liu of Warman placed tied for second in the 15-19 Girls division during the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT) ZEAL Series tour stop at the Humboldt Golf Club in Humboldt June 13-14.

Liu shot a 36-hole total 170 over two days, the same score as 16-year-old Ada Dillon of Onion Lake.

  Saskatoon’s Arwen Mosher won the MJT Girls 15-19 title with rounds of 83 and 85 for a 168 total.

GIRLS 9-10 MINI TOUR

Ten-year-old Ayden Bridge of Corman Park placed second in the Girls 9-10 division of the MJT Mini Tour event, hosted by the Humboldt Golf Club on June 13. She scored 131 over 18 holes. The division was won by eight-year-old Aria Shoffner of St. Denis, who shot 110.

PEE WEE BOYS

Corman Park golfers Cohen Bridge, 12, and Jackson Orr, 11, placed second and third, respectively, while Jace Fehr, 11, of Hague came in fourth in the Peewee Boys division during the MJT tournament in Humboldt June 13 and 14.

Bridge shot rounds of 78 and 76 for a two-day total of 154, just two strokes back of first-place finisher Hudson Deibert of Regina.

Orr, meanwhile, carded rounds of 83 and 85 for a two-day total of 168, and Fehr finished with a total score of 174.

BANTAM BOYS

Fourteen-year-old Jett Meckelborg of Riverside Estates, in the RM of Corman Park, ended up tied for fourth spot alongside 14-year-old Kolton O’Keefe of the RM of Dundurn in the Bantam Boys division. Both golfers finished with 36-hole totals of 170.

Cooper Roberge of Lloydminster, won the division with a score of 150, followed closely by second-place finisher Keaton Kreklewich of Melville with 151, Kai Axten of Redvers was third with a score of 167.

Fourteen-year-old Hudson Beattie of Warman placed 13th in the division with a  two-round total of 179.

JUVENILE BOYS

Playing on home turf, 14-year-old Jace Olson of Humboldt carded rounds of 76 and 75 for a 36-hole total of 151 to capture the Juvenile Boys title by two strokes over second place finisher Tylan Wallin, also of Humboldt, who finished with 153. Austin Nesbitt of Pilot Butte was third with 155.

Fourteen-year-old Zhongtian (Kevin) Liu of Warman finished in a three-way tie for 19th spot with a total of 174.

Sullivan Bursaw, 15, also of Warman, was 32nd with a two-round total of 184.

JUNIOR BOYS

Tryce Wallin of Humboldt emerged victorious in the MJT Junior Boys division after a thrilling one-hole playoff. The 17-year-old matched Lincoln Rogers of Prince Albert with a score of 151 through 36 holes before securing the title on the first extra hole. Wallin recorded eight birdies over the two rounds and credited his family for their support in his win.

Seventeen-year-old Levi Young of Warman placed eighth in the division with a score of 162 through 36 holes.

Austin McLean, 17, of Warman, placed 16th with a two-round total of 174.

Sixteen-year-old Spencer Durham of Delisle was 21st with a two-round total score of 190.

U15 GIRLS

Alyxa Melsted of Wynyard continued her impressive season by earning her third consecutive MJT victory. The 13-year-old followed an opening-round 87 with a tournament-best 78 on day two to finish at 165 and secure the MJT Girls U15 title. Clara Zhang of Saskatoon was second with 189 and Jiayi Tang of Prince Albert placed third with a total of 200.

MJT JUNIOR TOUR

As one of six stops on the national MJT ZEAL Series in 2026, the Junior Tour event brought golfers aged 19U together for 36 holes of competition across six divisions, with athletes battling for custom crystal Maple Leaf trophies, ZEAL Optics sunglasses, and qualifying opportunities into the MJT National Tour Challenge this fall in Ontario. The event showcased the impressive depth of junior golf talent from throughout Saskatchewan and beyond.
