Caleb Philp of Shellbrook was chosen second overall by the Warman Wolverines in the first round of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) Draft on Tuesday, June 9.

Philp had 28 goals and 45 assists in the 2025-26 season with the Prince Albert U15AA Pirates, as well as two goals and one assist in four games with the Prince Albert U18AAA Mintos. The previous season, 2024-25, Philp scored 18 goals and contributed 25 assists for the Warman U15AA Wildcats.

The Wolverines chose Bridger Unchulenko of Esterhazy as their second pick in the first round of the draft. Unchulenko had four goals and 21 assists in the 2025-26 season with the Sask East U18AA Oilers.

Arlo Barclay of Warman was picked first overall in the second round of the SJHL draft by the LaRonge Ice Wolves. Barclay, a defenseman, had three goals and 22 assists in the 2025-26 season with the Notre Dame U18AAA Hounds. The previous season, 2024-25, he had six goals and 30 assists with the Warman U15AA Wildcats.

The Wolverines chose Duncan Mitchell of Saskatoon as their first draft pick during the second round. Mitchell had four goals and 28 assists with the Saskatoon U18AA Riverkings in the 2025-26 season.

The Wolverines picked goaltender Benjamin Meyer of Regina in the fourth round. Meyer was a key part of the Regina U18AAA Pat Canadians’ successful SMAAAHL championship run last season, with a 2.11 GAA and a .922 save percentage.

Walker Bergen of Hague, a standout defenseman for the Warman U18AAA Wildcats last season with five goals and 12 assists, was drafted in the fourth round by the Estevan Bruins.

The Wolverines drafted Drayson Silbernagel of Moose Jaw in the fifth round. Silbernagel had 16 goals and 13 assists last season with the Moose Jaw U18AA Warriors, as well as  one goal and one assist with the Moose Jaw U18AAA Warriors.

The Wolverines also chose another Moose Jaw U18AAA Warrior veteran, Riley Brown. Drafted in the sixth round, Brown had 10 goals and 15 assists last season with Moose Jaw.
