Thanks to the recent wet weather, the total fire ban implemented in portions of the RM of Corman Park has been rescinded in full as of Friday morning, May 15.
A total fire ban was originally implemented in Division 1, Division 7 and Division 8 of the RM on Tuesday, May 5.
Outdoor fires within all three of those divisions are now permitted subject to all applicable provisions of Bylaw No. 18/26 — Fire Services Bylaw, as well as other relevant bylaws and provincial legislation.
Residents and landowners are reminded to exercise caution when conducting any outdoor burning activities, to follow safe burning practices and to comply with any restrictions issued by the RM or local Fire Protection Organizations.
Incidentally, the fire ban for the RM of Vanscoy, which was implemented on May 4, has also been lifted as of May 14.

This graphic displays a map of the Rm of Corman Park and where Divisions 1, 7 and 8 are located.
