Team Saskatchewan got off to a hot start in their opening game of the National Aboriginal Hockey Championships (NAHC) men’s division tournament in Regina on Monday, May 4, downing the Eastern Door of the North team from Quebec by a score of 4-3. Saskatchewan’s goal-scorers incldued Maclain Ethier, Tatum Fouquette, Cash Arcand Vandale and Xander Pritchard.

The NAHC, which also features a women’s division tournament, runs from May 4 to May 9 in Regina.

Saskatchewan’s men’s played Team Manitoba May 5 in round-robin play, and takes on Team BC May 7, with an evening game that same day against Team Alberta. Playoffs take place on May 8, with the finals on May 9.
