The Hague Royals are just two wins away from an appearance in the Senior D provincial hockey championship final.
The Royals dispatched the Ituna Avalanche in two straight games by identical 10-1 scores on February 20 and February 28 to sweep their quarter-final series.
Hague will now face off against the Mackliin Mohawks in another best-of-three series. Game One is set for Macklin on March 7. The second game of the series follows on March 14 in Hague at 7:30 p.m. at the Hague arena. A third game, if necessary, is slated for March 15 back in Macklin. The winner of the Hague-Macklin semi-final will move on to play either Cupar or Milestone in the Senior D provincial championship final series, which must be completed by March 30.
