On November 21 at 9:42 a.m., CPPS received a request for assistance from the Saskatchewan Conservation Officer Service in the area of Range Road (RR) 3074 and Township Road (TWP) 380. CPPS attended and executed a traffic stop on a vehicle involved in the complaint. A Saskatchewan Conservation Officer attended, found the hunter was committing an offence and charged the hunter under the Wildlife Act.

On November 22 at 2:35 p.m., CPPS stopped a vehicle on Floral Road and Highway 11 for an Automated License Plate Reader hit. The driver was read the mandatory approved screening device demand resulting in a WARN. The driver was subsequently issued 3-day driver’s license suspension and a 3-day vehicle impound.

On November 22 at 4:10 p.m., CPPS received a call of an alarm at a residence in Cathedral Bluffs. CPPS attended and cleared the residence, finding no signs of forced entry.

On November 22 at approximately 8:15 p.m., DOCC dispatched a call of a possible impaired driver eastbound on Highway 16 near Borden. CPPS intercepted the vehicle on Highway 16 near TWP 384. The driver displayed signs of alcohol impairment and provided a breath sample into an approved screening device, resulting in a FAIL. The driver was arrested and transported to the Martnesville RCMP detachment where the driver provided two samples of breath resulting in readings of 180 mgs% and 170 mgs%. The driver was subsequently charged with impaired operation of a conveyance and impaired operation of a conveyance over 80 mgs%. The driver was released with a court date to appear at Saskatoon Provincial Court.

On November 23 at 5:31 p.m., while on patrol in the area of Tamke Road and Highway 11, CPPS observed a dirtbike traveling on Tamke Road at a high rate of speed. CPPS attempted to stop the dirtbike, at which time the dirtbike fled from police. The dirtbike was located a short time later where police made contact with the rider, who admitted to fleeing from police. The driver was charged with driving without due care and attention, disobeying a signal to stop by a peace officer, and driving without a valid driver’s license. CPPS also seized the dirtbike for seven days.

On November 24 at 6:40 p.m., DOCC dispatched a call of a two-vehicle motor vehicle collision at Highway 60 and Valley Road. CPPS, Warman RCMP, the Saskatoon Fire Department, and Medavie Health Service West attended, where it was found that a vehicle turning from Valley Road onto Highway 60 had failed to stop at the stop sign. Both drivers received minor injuries and were cleared at the scene by ambulance personnel. One ticket for failing to stop at a stop sign was issued.
