The Twin City Angels captured the silver medal at the U11A girls provincial softball championships in Saskatoon July 4-6.
The Angels were undefeated in both the round-robin and playoffs, winnning six games in a row against opponents in the 10-team tournament. Their only defeat, unfortunately, was in the gold medal game.
In round-robin play, they beat the Maidstone Lakers 6-2, Saskatoon Lasers 5-0, Saskatoon Hustlers 15-1, and Prince Albert Aces 3-1.
In the playoffs, they beat the PP Prairie Pirates 10-1 and the Battleford Bandits 12-3 to qualify for the final.
In the gold medal game, they lost 11-7 to the Saskatoon Lasers.
