Residents of Borden and Langham have a couple of choices to pick from when they go to the polls in less than a month to elect a new Prairie Spirit School Division trustee for their area.
Two nominees — Dawne Badrock and Emily Summach — have put their names forward to represent Subdivision 3 on the Prairie Spirit school board.
The seat had been temporarily filled as a result of the Nov. 13 election, but the victor had to step away from the role shortly afterwards.
Anyone interested in filling the vacancy had to submit their nomination by a deadline of February 12.
Advance polls for the by-election will be held Wednesday, March 12 at the Borden Community Centre and Thursday, March 13 at the Affinity Community Hall in Langham. Both advance polls will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Finally, regular polls for the by-election will take place on Wednesday, March 19 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Polling stations will be set up at the Borden Community Centre and the Affinity Community Hall.
There are a total of 11 subdivisions represented by trustees on the Prairie Spirit board.
