The Saskatchewan Health Authority has advised that emergency services will not be available at the Rosthern Hospital from 1 p.m. today, January 2 to 8 a.m. on Friday, January 3.
A notice regarding the service disruption was posted to the Town of Rosthern’s Facebook page earlier this morning. It advises that emergency services will still be available at the Royal University Hospital and St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon, as well as the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert.
Residents with medical emergencies should continue to call 9-1-1. Otherwise, you can call HealthLine at 8-1-1 for non-medical emergency related questions.
It should be noted that a similar service disruption occurred at the Rosthern Hospital between the hours of 4 a.m. to noon on Dec. 14.
