The driver willfully impersonated his brother to avoid being arrested on an outstanding warrant and was also found to be driving while suspended. He resisted arrest, before being placed in the back of a patrol unit. The officer noted that the driver displayed signs of impairment consistent with a person under the influence of a drug. A search of the vehicle located a meth pipe and cannabis product, along with bear spray and two prohibited knives.
The driver then attempted to escape by kicking the officer and was subdued. He continued to be uncooperative and ultimately refused to complete a Standard Field Sobriety Test administered by police. The driver was held in custody and released the following morning once sober on an Undertaking to attend Saskatoon Provincial Court in November to answer the charges.

The complainant stated that three persons had entered the stable on his property and took one of the horses out to the riding arena, and that this had been going on for the past couple of weeks. Saskatoon RCMP and CPPS attended the scene. One male youth was arrested for break and enter, two others were transported home.
On October 18, CPPS conducted a traffic stop on Highway 16 at Range Road 3062 on a silver GMC for speeding. Police formed the grounds that the driver was impaired by alcohol. On October 22 at 1:20 a.m., CPPS conducted a traffic stop on a red Dodge Grand Caravan driving without a license plate on Range Road 3052 near Township Road 382. The driver had a slight smell of alcoholic beverage on their breath and admitted to recent consumption in the evening. An ASD Demand was made, and the breath sample was provided, resulting in a ‘Warn’ reading being obtained. The driver received a three day driver’s licence suspension.
On October 24 police conducted a traffic stop where the registered owner was flagged for an outstanding warrant for Assault. Police confirmed the driver’s identity with his SGI issued Driver’s Licence and was arrested. The driver was transported to Saskatoon RCMP cells and held until court the next day.
