From July 21-27, a total of 2,081 athletes, coaches, managers, mission staff and officials representing 221 communities across Saskatchewan will gather in Lloydminster to share in the thrill of competition and camaraderie on the provincial stage. Over 800 community volunteers have been recruited to help welcome upwards of 5,000 visitors to the Border City throughout the seven days of competition, in addition to the nearly 100 members of the Host Organizing Committee who have been working hard to plan and deliver the 26th edition of the biennial Saskatchewan Games.

The 2024 Saskatchewan Summer Games by the Numbers:
- 221 communities across Saskatchewan will be represented by:
- 1,504 athletes
- 235 coaches
- 82 managers
- 77 mission staff
- 183 registered officials will deliver 130 events within 14 sport competitions throughout the week
- Athletes will compete for nine District Teams and will vie for a total of 720 medals
- 800+ community volunteers will welcome upwards of 5,000 visitors to Lloydminster
- Nearly 100 Host Organizing Committee volunteers have been planning the Games for the last 2+ years

- These will be the first Saskatchewan Summer Games to take place since 2016. Lloydminster was originally slated to host the 2020 Games, which were ultimately cancelled due to the pandemic
- The typical athlete age at the Saskatchewan Games ranges from 11-17, depending on the sport
- The 2024 Saskatchewan Summer Games will feature 14 sports:
- Archery, Athletics, Baseball, Basketball, Beach Volleyball, Canoe/Kayak, Golf, Soccer, Softball, Special Olympics – Bocce, Swimming, Tennis, Triathlon, and Volleyball
- These Games will mark the debut of Special Olympics – Bocce and Beach Volleyball at the Saskatchewan Summer Games
- These will be the 26th edition of the Saskatchewan Games, and the 13th edition of the Saskatchewan Summer Games to be held since the first-ever in 1972
- Since 1972, approximately 50,000+ participants and 25,000+ volunteers have taken part in the Saskatchewan Games
- Lloydminster last hosted the Saskatchewan Games in 2008. As the Border City, it has also twice played host to the Alberta Games, as well as numerous other major provincial, national and international sport events
- The next Saskatchewan Games will be hosted in the neighbouring communities of Meadow Lake and Flying Dust First Nation from February 15-21, 2026. This will mark the first time in Saskatchewan Games history that a First Nation and City have partnered in hosting the Games
- The biennial Saskatchewan Games, which alternate between summer and winter events every two years, are made possible through the collaboration and contributions of many different partners, including the Saskatchewan Games Council and its funding partners, the volunteer Host Organizing Committee, the provincial Districts for Sport, Culture and Recreation, the Provincial Sport Organizations, Sask Sport Inc. and Sask Lotteries, and many more
