Saskatchewan’s top Junior A hockey players will take centre stage in Warman next week when the Warman Home Centre Communiplex  hosts the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) Showcase.

The four-day event, featuring all 12 SJHL teams, is designed to give hockey scouts a look at how individual players stack up in game situations.

It also offers area hockey fans a chance to see non-stop high-calibre action close to home.

There are many players with connections to our area playing in the SJHL, including:

* Kindersley Klippers- Brock Evans (Warman) 

* Battlefords North Stars- Carson Olson (Warman), Easton Rask (Corman Park)

* Humboldt Broncos- Spencer Bell (Warman), Daylon Weigel (Warman) and Jeter Korte (Warman AAA Wildcats alumni)

* Flin Flon Bombers- Ryan Bain (Hanley)

* Estevan Bruins- Carsyn Dyck (Warman)

* LaRonge Ice Wolves- Zane Normand and Mason Bueckert (Warman AAA Wildcats alumni)
