On October 22 9:45 p.m., police obtained a high speed on a vehicle that was south bound on Highway 11 at TR 400. Police attempted to stop the vehicle, which accelerated away. Direction and a description of the vehicle passed on to all police units. At 10:00 p.m., the vehicle was located at the Esso in Warman on Centennial Blvd. The driver admitted to failing to stop, had his vehicle impounded, issued an offence notice for a speeding and a summons for flight from police.
On October 19 at 7:13 p.m., RCMP DOCC dispatched a call of a male running toward traffic on Highway 11 south of Warman. CPPS was in the area and attended and spoke to the male who was checked out by Warman Fire Department and appeared to be possibly suffering from withdrawals. After waiting for an ambulance, which was not going to be available for some time, police transported subject to RUH at his request.
On October 15 at 11:05 p.m., CPPS received a call from the Saskatoon Fire Department regarding a vehicle fire located at RR 3070 + TWP 374. CPPS arrived as Saskatoon Fire was putting the fire out on the grey 2005 GMC Sierra 2500. The vehicle was located in the ditch near the grid road, the cause was undetermined and no one was injured.
On October 13 at 11:30 p.m ., CPPS was parked in the median of Highway 16 when an eastbound vehicle lost control and entered the ditch, almost hitting the police vehicle. Police performed a traffic stop where the driver admitted to recent cannabis consumption and detected odor of beverage alcohol. Subsequently provided a breath sample resulting in a “WARN”. Issued a 120 day license suspension, 7 day vehicle impound, and citations for driving without due care and attention, and failing to comply with a license restriction not to consume alcohol and drive.
On October 27 at 9:20 a.m., CPPS arrived on TR 382 and RR 3074 for a two-vehicle collision. It was found that an RM of Corman Park truck was travelling eastbound on TR 382 when a vehicle failed to yield the right of away while travelling southbound on RR 3074. Vehicle 2 hit the rear driver side of the RM truck and sustained serious damage to driver side front. No injuries resulted.
On October 27, at 1:44 p.m., CPPS received a complaint about damage to a residential garage door. CPPS attended the scene and obtained pictures of the damage. A vehicle had run into the garage door sometime during the late morning. No access was gained to the garage.
On October 28 at 12:30 p.m. CPPS received a call for service from Saskatoon Fire Department regarding a white Ford transit van on fire on RR 3055 1/2 km north of TR 354. CPPS assisted at the scene until RCMP members arrived.
