The Clavet Cougars kicked off the 2A Six-A-Side provincial playoffs with a convincing 70-19 win over the visiting Kamsack Spartans on Friday, October 27.

With the win the Cougars will be hosting the Rosetown Royals in semi-final action on Saturday, November 4.

It will be a match up of two powerhouse teams. The Cougars finished at the top of Conference Two, outscoring their opponents 288-96. The Royals, meanwhile, finished at the top of Conference One, outscoring opponents 371-76.

The other 2A Six-A-Side semi-final game will feature Wakaw at Watrous. Wakaw defeated Unity 50-26 to advance, while Watrous bested Wynyard 32-14 to punch their ticket to the semis. The winner of this game will host the provincial finals scheduled for Saturday, November 11.
