 Ongoing missing person investigations. Saskatchewan RCMP continues to ask for public assistance locating the following missing individuals:

April 3: Saskatchewan RCMP’s North Battleford Crime Reduction Team (CRT) was working to locate 26-year-old Ethan Night from Saulteaux First Nation. He was wanted on four separate warrants for offences including pointing a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, uttering threats and fraud. Investigation determined he was at a residence on Salteaux First Nation. Officers were let into the house by occupants and located Night hiding under a mattress. He was arrested without incident and was scheduled to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court on April 6, 2023.

April 5: Punnichy RCMP warns about the dangers of illicit drugs after recent suspected overdoses

April 5: Investigation by La Ronge RCMP’s General Investigation Section (GIS) determined occupants of a residence on Settee Street in Stanley Mission may be trafficking cocaine. With the assistance of Saskatchewan RCMP’s Critical Incident Response Team and La Ronge Crime Reduction Team, officers executed a search warrant at the residence. Officers located and seized a small amount of crack cocaine, a machete, a sum of cash and drug trafficking paraphernalia.

Two males were arrested without incident at the scene.

19-year-old Yeina Koladino from Saskatoon is charged with:

– one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking, Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;

– one count, possession of property obtained by crime less than $5,000, Section 354(1)(a), Criminal Code;

– one count, fail to comply with undertaking, Section 145(4)(a), Criminal Code; and

– one count, fail to comply with probation, Section 733.1(1), Criminal Code.

He was also arrested on an outstanding warrant from Stanley Mission RCMP for failing to appear in court. He is scheduled to appear in La Ronge Provincial Court on April 6, 2023 (Information 90501342).

As a result of investigation, 38-year-old Russell Charles from Stanley Mission is charged with:

– one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking, Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act; and

– one count, possession of property obtained by crime less than $5,000, Section 354(1)(a), Criminal Code.

He is scheduled to appear in La Ronge Provincial Court on May 1, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. (Information 90501341).
