Rosthern RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspicious vehicle and three suspects believed to have been involved in two related incidents in the Duck Lake area last weekend.
At 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 12, the Rosthern RCMP detachment received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle on the Beardys & Okemasis Cree Nation.
The vehicle was described as white truck with a black tailgate with two male occupants and one female with pink hair. The males had their faces covered with bandanas.
An hour later in the RM of Duck Lake, approximately 15 kilometers north of the Beardys & Okemasis Cree Nation, a weapons complaint was made. The victim came upon a white 3/4 ton Ford truck with two males with their faces covered and one female with pink hair. The suspects shot at the victim as they drove away.
The firearm was described as a long gun. The suspect vehicle left southbound.
Officers were on scene with the victim gathering more information and additional officers patrolled the area following the incident. The plate number of the vehicle is not known, but police believe the incidents involve the same suspects.
RCMP are advising the public to calll 911 if they see this vehicle, but to not approach the vehicle or the suspects.
