Funeral services will be held this weekend for two Warman residents who died in a three-vehicle collision on New Year’s Day.
Family members have stated to the Gazette that John Janzen, 83, and his wife Adina Janzen, 80, will be remembered at a come and go visitation on Friday, January 6, 2023 at Martens Warman Funeral Home from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. The funeral service for the couple will take place on Saturday, January 7 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bergthaler Mennonite Church in Warman with internment to follow at Hague Cemetery.
Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash that happened just after 6:00 p.m. on January 1 near the Osler South Access Road on Highway 11. Five other individuals were injured and taken to hospital with varying degrees of injuries.
The investigation is ongoing with the assistance of Saskatchewan RCMP Forensic Collision Reconstructionists and the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service.
