Sonia’s School of Ukrainian Dance held their 40th Anniversary Showcase event at the Legends Theatre in Warman on Saturday, May 7. In a return to live performances, the afternoon began with the Canadian and Ukrainian national anthems, followed by a minute of silence to honour the Ukrainian people. The event, a celebration of Ukrainian culture, featured 21 solo, duet and group performances ranging from beginner to adult, as well as the world-famous Pavlychenko Folklorique Ensemble.
