Business of the year nominees charity challenge

Many people may know the Prairie Sky Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a gala for the Business Excellence Awards in May, celebrating outstanding businesses in the Warman and Martensville area. (previously the WMBEXA). What they might not know, is that two finalists for Business of the Year have launched a healthy wager, all to benefit charity.

“The battle is on! Prairie ICF and Zak’s Home Hardware have agreed to a friendly $1000 wager on the winner of ‘Business of the Year’ in the Prairie Sky Chamber Business Excellence Awards. The winning company will have a $1000 donation made to a charity of their choice.  If Prairie ICF wins, Zak’s donates $1000 to their charity – Martensville Community Recreation Project (MCRP), which is raising funds for a new multi-sports facility in Martensville. If Zak’s wins, Prairie ICF will donate $1000 to the Warman Food Bank.

If neither win, the FULL pot goes to charity!

The challenge is on to all other finalists! (Legends Pharmacy has now opted in). Stay tuned for the results May 7, when winners are announced at the Awards Gala.”
