Police have arrested and charged a fourth suspect in connection with the shooting death of a Saskatoon man on the Beardy’s & Okemasis Cree Nation.

RCMP issued a news release April 8 that Dana Morningchild, 29, was arrested in Saskatoon onApril 5 and charged with second-degree murder. Morningchild’s next court appearance is set for April 28.

Cody Tait was injured on a road on the Cree Nation on March 27. RCMP offiers who responded tried lifesaving efforts, but Tait died at the scene.

Scotty  Jimmy, 20, from North Battleford; Allison Bear, 20, from Saskatoon and Robbie Camerson, 28, from Saskatoon previously were charged in connection with Tait’s death.
