Corman Park Reeve Judy Harwood has been appointed by the provincial government to serve on the RM of Dundurn No. 314 Council until March 23, 2022
Four recent vacancies on the RM of Dundurn No. 314 Council required the provincial government to temporarily appoint three new members to the Council of the RM to establish a quorum.
These appointments will remain in effect until the completion of a by-election to be held on March 23, 2022.
In a Minister’s Order dated January 19, 2022, Reeve Judy Harwood was appointed as Division 2 Councillor, Ed Collins of Watrous as Division 3 Councillor and Fred Wilson of Dundurn as Councillor for Division 4.
“I’m pleased to be able to assist the RM of Dundurn to continue to operate and make decisions until the vacancies on Council can be filled through local elections,” said Reeve Harwood.
The appointment of Councillor for the RM of Dundurn will have no effect on Reeve Harwood’s current position with the RM of Corman Park.
