The Martensville Maddogs Bantam team won the Kinsmen Football League (KFL) Huskie Division Championship on Saturday, November 6.The Maddogs took home the Bruce Steeves trophy with a convincing 36-6 victory over the Steelers at Saskatoon Minor Football Stadium in Saskatoon.

The championship was the second of the day for a Martensville Maddogs team. An earlier game at SMF Field saw the Maddogs Peewee team win the Hilltops Division Kinsmen Bowl trophy with a 26-20 win over the Babineau Warriors.

To top off a perfect day on the gridiron for the City of Martensville, the Martensville High School Royals spanked the host Melville Cobras by a score of 62-25 in the SHSAA provincial semi-final on November 6. The Royals now host the Delisle Rebels in the SHSAA nine-man provincial championship on Saturday, November 13.
