Last weekend saw the return of senior hockey as play in the Twin Rivers Hockey League (TRHL)began.
Cudworth scored in the last minute of play to edge the Warman Wildcats 3-2 in the game played at the Legends Centre on October 29. Warman was involved in another close one on October 30 as they travelled to Clavet. The home team won 5-4 in game game that was determined by shootouts.
On October 31 Waldheim defeated Allan 8-3 in the game played at Waldheim.
The upcoming weekend will feature a full slate of games. Other teams playing in TRHL include Birch Hills, Dalmeny, Hague, Rosthern and Shellbrook.
Delisle plays in the Sask Valley Hockey League,and their season will open with a home game on November 5. Other teams in the league are Central Butte, Dinsmore, Eston, Kenaston, Kyle, Loreburn, Lucky Lake, Outlook, and Rosetown.
Radisson plays in the Sask Prairie Hockey League and will start play on November 26 when they travel up highway 16 to play Battleford. Other teams in the league include Maidstone, Maymont, Meota, Perdue, Spiritwood, and Turtleford.
