Zak’s is helping the town of Hague grow.
Volnteers from Hague High School and Hague Elementary School, along with officials from Tree Canada and the Town of Hague; as well as employees from Zak’s Home Hardware Building Cetnres and Zak’s Building Group planted over 180 trees in Hague on Thursday, September 9.
In January of 2020, Zak’s Home Hardware Building Centres and Zak’s Building Group entered into a three-year partnership with Tree Canada, in which Zak’s agreed to donate 25% of its lumber sale profits to Tree Canada to help reforest area communities and provincial forests.
In 2020 the initiative saw 180 trees planted at the Warman Dog Park.
