Donald Fowler has been located safely. The Martensville RCMP Detachment thanks members of the public along with partner police agencies for their assistance.
On Thursday, February 18, the Martensville RCMP requested the assistance of the public to help locate the 83-year-old, after he didn’t return to his residence which he left the night prior.
While the search efforts were ongoing, a business owner from Tofield, Alberta called police to report a male who attended their location and was concerned about the male’s well-being. Tofield RCMP were able to verify the subject of the police report as being Mr. Fowler.
During the search, Martensville RCMP conducted several extensive patrols and neighbourhood inquiries in the areas where Mr. Fowler was believed to be. Police also liaised with surrounding RCMP detachments and municipal police services to assist with and expand the search.
