Members of Warman Fire Rescue clean up the fluid and debris from the collision

The were no injuries after a skid-steer (Bobcat) and a Ford Flex collided on 6th Avenue South near Hanson R.V. in Warman, November 10.

Warman RCMP responded to the scene around 11:30 a.m.. According to Cpl. Rielly Knock, the Bobcat was crossing the street to dump some snow when the Ford Flex hit it.

“Just given the ice and the road conditions the last few days, the vehicle was unable to stop; slid and hit the back end of the Bobcat,” Knock said.

Once Warman RCMP arrived on scene, Warman Fire Rescue was called to clean up the fluids from the Ford Flex, as well as the debris from the collision.

Along with the driver there was one passenger in the Ford Flex and even though air bags were deployed, there were no major injuries.

There was a lot of damage to the front end of the Ford Flex but no there was no major damage done to the Bobcat.

Due to the recent snowfall, road conditions in the community are not ideal and Knock encourages everyone to drive cautiously.

“It’s just a layer of shear ice under there, so everybody should be driving a lot slower and a little more cautious than they would be normally in summer conditions,” Knock said.
