Martensville RCMP arrested two men following an investigation into a series of bicycle thefts in Martensville.
RCMP Sergeant Curtis Little said on October 20 that the detachment had received a number of reports of stolen bikes in the community recently.
“Many of these have been taken from the yards of homeowners,” said Little. “On the evening of October 17, police conducted an investigation that led to a search warrant being executed in Martensville.”
A number of bicycle parts were recovered from the property.
As a result of the investigation, two adult males have been charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
