Elections for public school board trustees are slated to take place in several subdivisions of the Prairie Spirit School Division (PSSD) on November 9, while in others trustees have been elected by acclamation.

In PSSD Subdivision 1, incumbent trustee Pam Wieler has been acclaimed for another term.

In PSSD Subdivision 2, there will be an election between incumbent Trina Miller and challenger Kate Kading.

In Subdivision 3, incumbent Ken Crush has been returned by acclamation.

In Subdivision 4, incumbent George Janzen is running or re-election, and is being challenged by Christa-Ann Willems.

In Subdivision 5 Angela Bothner has been acclaimed.

In Subdivision 6, there is an election slated that will see incumbent Bernie Howe compete for the position against challengers Terry Brown and Shannon Wright in a three-way race.

In Subdivision 7, incumbent trustee Dawn Badrock has been re-elected by acclamation.

In Subdivision 8, there will be a two-way race between candidates Grace Wudrick and Crystal Rinas.

In Subdivision 9, which includes the City of Martensville, no candidate has stepped forward to run. A second call for nominations will be held. Former trustee Bonnie Hope chose not to run for re-election.

In Subdivision 10 Sam Dyck and Adin Dereniwski are both contesting the position.

In Subdivision 11, Kimberley Greyeyes has been acclaimed.

The Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools (GSCS) Division is also holding elections November 9. However, the incumbent trustee for Warman and Martensville, Wayne Stus, has been re-elected by acclamation.
