Warman Youth Kaitlyn Giesbrecht had two devotionals published in the “One True God 80 Devotions” book and she had a book-signing at the Warman Community Library on September 30 to celebrate her work.
The event was a success and all books that were available were sold out. A pre-order list was also filled.
The book is published by G4C Publications and Giesbrecht had the opportunity to be a part of the book after seeing a post on Instagram. The organization sent out an invitation, which encouraged people to send original devotions for a chance to be published.
She was thrilled to have her work selected to be published alongside names like Bethany Hamilton, a professional surfer and motivational speaker, as well as other authors of all different ages from around the world.
Giesbrecht has plans to continue writing and has started writing for G4C’s next book, which is to be a book of prayers. The book is, again, open to all ages for those who would like to submit an entry.
Giesbrecht is a appreciative of the Warman Community Library for helping her with the book-signing and she is also thankful to all the people who came out to the event and supported her.
