Warman Fire Rescue responded to a fence fire around 3:15 p.m. at 507 4th St. West on May 6, which was quickly extinguished.
Quick thinking from contractors nearby help put out the fire as they dumped gravel on it with a skid steer truck. When Warman Fire Rescue got to the scene, the fire was just smoldering.
It didn’t take too long to extinguish the hot spots as the brush truck was only needed.
There was a shed nearby the fence, but the fire didn’t spread and it was quickly contained.
