A 46-year-old Warman man is facing a number of charges following a collision with parked vehicles in the 3500 block of 33rd Street West in Saskatoon yesterday.
At approximately 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2020, Saskatoon Police were called to the scene where they found a Ford Ranger truck had struck parked vehicles before ending up on the front lawn of a nearby residence.
The driver was still inside the vehicle and showed signs of impairment by drug.
A search of the vehicle resulted in officers locating methamphetamine, multiple knives, bear spray and brass knuckles.
A search of the man resulted in officers locating additional methamphetamine (totalling 55.97 grams methamphetamine seized) and approximately $240 in cash.
The man was transported to hospital by Medavie Health Services as a precaution.
He is facing charges of Impaired Driving, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession of the Proceeds of Crime, Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon.
