A woman was injured in a  single-vehicle collision near Martensville in the early-morning hours of Sunday, April 19.

Martensville Fire Department responded to the incident, which occurred at 1:37 a.m. a.m., close to the Loraas landfill site south of Martensville.

Deputy Fire Chief Dean Brooman said firefighters used extrication tools to free the patient from the vehicle.

Brooman said the woman was medically assessed by Martensville Fire Department at the scene and was then transferred to Medavie Ambulance paramedics, who transported her to hospital in Saskatoon. The extent of the woman’s injuries were not known.
