The Corman Park Police Service (CPPS) is advising motorists to expect significantly increased traffic volumes during the Ag in Motion outdoor farm expo, taking place July 21–23, 2026. Thousands of visitors from across Western Canada will travel to and from the event each day, resulting in heavier traffic on Highway 16, Range Road 3082, and the surrounding range and township roads.
To help ensure the safety of all road users, reduced speed zones will be in effect on Highway 16, Range Road 3082, and nearby municipal roads in the vicinity of the event site. Motorists are reminded that these reduced speed limits are enforceable and are in place to protect drivers, pedestrians, event staff, and emergency responders.
The Corman Park Police Service will have an increased police presence throughout the event. Officers will be conducting proactive traffic enforcement, monitoring traffic flow, and responding to public safety concerns. Enforcement efforts will focus on speeding, distracted driving, impaired driving, aggressive driving, seat belt compliance, and other offences that place road users at risk.
Motorists are encouraged to:
– Slow down and obey all posted speed limits.
– Allow extra travel time, particularly during peak arrival and departure periods.
– Watch for vehicles turning into and out of the event site.
– Follow the directions of police officers, flag persons, and traffic control personnel.
– Remain patient and courteous while travelling through the area.
Traffic delays should be expected throughout the three-day event. Planning ahead and allowing additional travel time will help reduce congestion and contribute to a safer experience for all road users.
