On November 14 at 5:34 p.m., DOCC dispatched a call of an alarm at a residence in Edgemont Estates. Corman Park Police Service (CPPS) attended and found the home secure.
On November 15 at 6:30 p.m., CPPS conducted a traffic stop on Highway 219 and Grasswood Road after observing a burnt-out headlight. A CPIC check of the driver revealed she was on a Canada-wide driving prohibition and was also provincially suspended from driving. The driver was arrested and transported to the Saskatoon RCMP detachment where she was released facing a new charge of driving while prohibited from doing so under the Criminal Code.
On November 15 at 11:44 p.m., CPPS conducted a traffic stop on Highway 219 near Cartwright Street. Open alcohol and unstamped tobacco was seen in plain view. The driver displayed signs of impairment and submitted an oral fluid sample, which was positive for cocaine. The passenger was found to be breaching a condition of his release order and was arrested and transported to the Saskatoon RCMP detachment. The passenger was released facing one count of breach a condition of a release order. The driver was issued a 3-day driver’s license suspension and a 3-day vehicle impound.
On November 15 at 10:39 p.m., CPPS received a call about someone walking along Valley Road near Merrill School Road with a suitcase. The caller was concerned for the well-being of the pedestrian. CPPS attended and made patrols. The pedestrian was not found.
On November 19 at 1:48 a.m., CPPS conducted a traffic stop on Range Road (RR) 3061 near Township Road (TWP) 372. The driver admitted to alcohol consumption and was read the approved screening device demand. The driver provided a breath sample into a roadside screening device, resulting in an alert. The driver subsequently had their driver’s license suspended for 3 days and vehicle impounded for 3 days.
On November 17 at 7:40 p.m., CPPS DOCC dispatched an alarm call at a business in the Biz Hub industrial park. CPPS attended and found the business to be secure.
On November 19 at 11:00 a.m., DOCC dispatched a call of an abandoned truck on RR 3072 north of Highway 305. Police attended and found a truck, with its tires removed. Police determined the truck was stolen out of the City of Saskatoon. The truck was towed from the scene.
On November 19 at 5:30 p.m., DOCC dispatched a call of a two-vehicle motor vehicle collision at Idylwyld Drive and 71st Street. CPPS attended and found two vehicles involved with one vehicle not drivable. One vehicle was towed from the scene and none of the vehicle occupants were injured.
