On July 1 at 5:15 p.m., on Township Road (TWP) 354 and Valley Road, a female driver was found to be operating a white Dodge minivan  under the influence of cannabis after testing positive on ADSE. She was subsequently issued a 72-hour driver’s license (DL) suspension and a three-day vehicle impoundment as per SGI.

On July 2 at 2:30 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop on a black 2021 BMW on Highway 12 to see if there was an issue as the driver had his hazard lights on. The driver admitted to having many alcoholic beverages, smelled of alcohol and lost his balance when exiting the vehicle. He provided a sample of breath into an ASD, resulting in a FAIL.  He was arrested and taken to a Qualified Technician to provide two samples of breath that resulted in readings of 170 and 170 mgs. The accused was released on an Appearance notice for court in August, 2025.

On July 1 at 4:15 p.m., on TWP 354 and Valley Road, a male driver was found to be operating a black GMC Terrain  under the influence of cannabis after testing positive on ADSE. The driver was a learner driver with a restriction of zero tolerance for alcohol/drug consumption while operating a vehicle. He was subsequently issued a 120-day DL suspension as this was his second offence for operating under the influence.

On July 1 around 10:15 p.m., police stopped a grey Acura MDX after observing it turn down a restricted road on Range Road (RR) 3055 and Cartwright Street. The driver provided a sample of breath which resulted in a WARN.  The driver’s DL was suspended and the vehicle impounded for three days.

On June 30 at  approximately 1:30 p.m., Corman Park Police Service (CPPS) received a call regarding some individuals who set up tents on his property along the train tracks between the RM of Corman Park and the City of Saskatoon. CPPS arrived and located the individuals who were identified. A CPIC inquiry on a male indicated an active warrant out of Saskatoon Police Service for driving while suspended. He was arrested, then released on a Form H and given instructions to clean up and leave the property immediately.

On July 11 at 11:45  p.m., CPPS stopped a vehicle on Highway 11 near Victor Road for not having illuminated tail lights. The driver did not have a driver’s licence with him. A moderate smell of alcoholic beverage was detected and subsequent ASD demand made. The driver provided a sample resulting in a FAIL reading. The driver was arrested for impaired driving and driving over .08. The driver was transported to Saskatoon RCMP where two samples were provided, readings of 130 and 110 mgs obtained. The driver was released for court on an Appearance Notice for August 2025.

On July 12 at 11:54 p.m., police were called to a report of a disturbance just north of Dalmeny. The caller indicated an impaired male had left in a Black Dodge 1500 and he had firearms in the vehicle, unregistered, possibly headed to the Langham Motel. CPPS and RCMP members attended the motel, located the vehicle and observed a long barrel bolt action rifle in the rear seat area as well as a receiver of a hand-held firearm, possibly a BB gun on the floor. RCMP members arrived soon after and took over the investigation. The suspect was subsequently located and charged with a number of driving and firearm-related criminal offences.
