On April 5 at 5:45 p.m., Corman Park Police Service (CPPS) observed a vehicle driving on the shoulder at 127 km/h in a 110 km/h zone, north on Highway 11 near Baker Road. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver showed signs of impairment by alcohol. She provided a sample of her breath into the approved screening device resulting in “FAIL”, was arrested, transported to Saskatoon RCMP where she provided two samples of her breath resulting in 150 mgs% + 150 mgs%. She was released on an Appearance Notice for court in May.

On April 5 at approximately 8:50 p.m., CPPS observed a vehicle speeding in a 60 km/h zone westbound on Beam Road near Dividend Road. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified. A CPIC inquiry indicated the driver to have active conditions to have no contact with the female who was a passenger in the vehicle. He was arrested and released on an Appearance Notice for breaching his release conditions.

On April 4 at 4:20 p.m., CPPS observed a vehicle driving eastbound on Beam Road near Range Road (RR) 3060 with a broken rear window. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified. There was a strong smell of burnt cannabis in the vehicle. The driver admitted to the consumption of cannabis and provided a sample of his oral fluid resulting in “THC POSITIVE”. His driver’s license was suspended for three days and the vehicle was impounded.

On April 7 at 8:10 p.m., police stopped a blue Dodge truck on Capital Circle near the Biz Hub. The driver was found to have an active warrant out of Saskatoon Police Service for driving while disqualified and failing to comply with a release order contrary, as well as a condition not to be in the driver seat of a vehicle. He was arrested and released on an Undertaking for court following the wishes of Saskatoon Police Service.  

On April 9 at 1:35 a.m., Corman Park Police received a call advising that someone had rammed the gates at Commercial Sand Blasting and Painting located in North Corman Park Industrial. CPPS notified Warman RCMP and attended the scene with the owner and it was discovered a truck had been stolen. The truck was equipped with GPS and was tracked to Sturgeon Lake First Nation where Prince Albert RCMP attended and were able to arrest multiple involved individuals.

April 10, at approximately 9:35 p.m., CPPS was requested by Warman RCMP to attend to a vehicle vs deer collision on Highway 12 at Powerline Road. CPPS spoke with the complainant and confirmed the non-driveable vehicle was off the road and there were no injuries.
