All of the dancers in Sonia’s School of Ukrainian Dance took part in the pryvit (opening dance) of the 2026 Showcase, which was hosted at the Warman Home Centre Communiplex. A total of 31 dances were performed during the showcase, including two performances by the Pavlychenko Folklorique Ensemble.
Christine Martens and Evelyn Martens performed a duet from central Ukraine.
Aubree Ficko and Emery Slonski perform the Hutsul during the showcase.

A line of dancers is formed during the pleskatch, which opened the second half of the showcase. Incidentally, this group consisted of (in no particular order) Alexia Gerasymenko, Anika Schwendemann, Anlie Woytowich, Anya Duff, Aubree Ficko, Brooklyn Hobbs, Emily Lowenberger, Erika Gerasymenko, Evelyn Martin, Scarlett Kiuchewski, Ava Homeniuk, Brenna Reeder, Chelsea Martens, Emery Slonski, Lena Duff, McKenna Kachmarski, Mya Homeniuk and Raina Reeder.

Raina Reeder kicks up her heels during a volyn solo performance. Notably, this was Raina’s last showcase as a dancer and the event ended with a tearful farewell for the senior dancer.
