On October 31 at 12:46 a.m., Corman Park Police Service (CPPS) stopped a vehicle on Highway 12 near Township Road (TWP) 381 after observing the vehicle operating without its taillights illuminated. The driver displayed signs of drug impairment and subsequently provided an oral fluid sample resulting in a positive for THC. The driver was also found to be a learner driver with a restriction of zero tolerance for drug/ alcohol consumption while driving. The driver was subsequently issued a 60-day drivers license suspension, and a 3-day vehicle impound.

On October 31 at 5:30 p.m., DOCC dispatched a call of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 305 and Range Road (RR) 3050. CPPS and RCMP attended with Medavie Health Services West, STARS air ambulance, and the Warman Fire Department. Multiple people were transported to hospital. 

On October 31 at 11:32 p.m., CPPS received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle in the Floral Industrial Park. CPPS attended and noticed multiple individuals working in the area. Nothing abnormal was observed.

On November 1 at approximately 9:40 p.m., CPPS observed a vehicle travelling on Highway 11 near Wanuskewin without its taillights illuminated. A further check showed the vehicle’s registration was also expired. CPPS performed a traffic stop and observed drug paraphernalia in the vehicle and noticed the driver was displaying signs of impairment. The driver submitted to an oral fluid test resulting in a positive for cocaine. The driver subsequently had their vehicle impounded for seven days and driver’s license suspended for seven days; the driver also was issued a ticket for operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

On November 4 at 11:53 a.m., while on patrol, CPPS came across a Jeep Liberty parked along RR 3043 north of TWP 374. CPPS checked the vehicle, which was reported stolen out of the Saskatoon Police Service. The vehicle was seized and Saskatoon Police Service notified.

On November 4 at 8:53 p.m., CPPS stopped a vehicle at Highway 219 and Victor Road to check driver’s license, registration, and sobriety. The driver submitted to a roadside screening device demand resulting in an ALERT. The driver was also found to never have held a driver’s license. The driver was subsequently issued a 60-day driver’s license suspension, three-day vehicle impound, and a ticket for driving without a driver’s license.

On November 6 at 11:55 p.m., CPPS stopped a vehicle on TWP 364 near RR 3064 for various vehicle equipment regulation infractions. The driver was found to be wanted out of the Saskatoon Police Service on multiple warrants. The driver was subsequently arrested and released to attend court in Saskatoon.
