The Sask Five 15U AAA Giants came away with two big wins this past week.

On Wednesday, June 25 they travelled to Battlefords and defeated the North West Sun Devils 15-3.

The next night they hosted the Saskatoon Expos and came away with a 15-10 win. 

In game one Jyles Kennedy led the way. He earned the win on the mound striking out four batters over five innings. He went three for three at the plate with singles in the first, third and fifth inning and had three stolen bases. 

Carson Perrier, Haaken Flodell and Jackson Dowie also had multiple hits. Ryder Collins led the team with four runs batted in.

In the Thursday game Collins also drove in four runs starting with a two-run home run in the first inning. Carson Perrier and Reid Viden also went yard. Collins, Perrier and Easton Leishman each had three hits.

The Giants were aggressive on the base path stealing eight bases in total with Jyles Kennedy, Brady Menzies and Easton Leishman having multiple steals.

Jax Kennedy earned the win striking out four batters and walking one over three innings pitched.

The wins improve the Giants’ record to 12 wins and six losses good enough for third place in the Saskatchewan Premier Baseball League 15U AAA standings.
