A 28-year-old man from Saskatoon was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Tuesday, June 10 at the intersection of Highway 12 and Lutheran Road;

Martensville-Warman  RCMP officers, Martensville Fire Department members,  and Medavie Health Services West paramedics responded to the collision, which occurred at about 5:20 p.m.

According to the RCMP, investigation determined that a truck and car collided.

Martensville Fire Chief Dean Brooman said that upon arrival, responders used extrication equipment to remove the driver from the car.

The RCMP said the driver and sole occupant of the car was then transported to hospital by EMS where he was later declared deceased. His family has been notified.

The driver and sole occupant of the second vehicle was assessed and treated at the scene by EMS and did not require transport to hospital.

The cause of the collision is under investigation by Martensville-Warman RCMP with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
