The roster for the Sask First Female Under-16 Top 40 was announced last week following an evaluation camp in Regina early in April. The evaluation was aimed at determining the best of the best for athletes born in 2010 and 2011.
Among the players advancing to the next level are Warman Wildcats forwards Hannah Weseen (Warman), Andie Marshall (Martensville), Ella Wagner (Martensville) and goaltender Avery Brunen (Warman), who starred with the North East Wolfpack of the Saskatchewan AA Hockey League last season.
Next up will be the summer camp August 3-4 in Regina to determine the teams for the 2025 Female U16AAA Showcase Tournament in Swift Current September 4-7.
