It was a weekend of exciting action at the Warman Home Centre Communiplex as Warman hosted its annual ‘Pack the Barn- A Celebration of Female Hockey’ event Decemmber 13-15.
The celebration kicked off Friday evening with the Warman U11 Bearcats taking on the Comet Flares; and the Warman U18AA Wildcats facing off against the Prince Albert Foxes.
Saturday’s full day started with the Warman U13AA Wildcats vs Regina Rebels White, with the Warman U7 Wildcats playing the Martensville U7 Mavens in a mini game during the first period intermission.
This was followed by the Warman U15AA Wildcats vs Saskatoon Comet Impact. The Warman U18A Bengals played the Spiritwood Northern Woods in the nightcap game.
The U15A Bengals played the East Central Fillies Sunday afternoon, followed by the feature game of the weekend between the Saskatoon Prairie Blaze and Regina Junior Rebels of Saskatchewan Female Junior Hockey League. It was a homecoming for several Warman Wildcats alumni who star on the defending league champion Prairie Blaze.
